In this post, I reveal something about myself.

Ok, so I have not revealed my sex since I started this blog around the first of the year. Well for this post I have to.

I am getting out of shape. And I’ve been reading my friend Israel’s blog alot lately, and its inspiring me to get in shape. You can check his blog out at Fat Man Unleashed.

Anyways let me tell you something about my self…

I am a man.

I am a 26 year old man.

I am a 26 year old, 6′4 inch man.

I am a 26 year old 6′4 inch 242 lb man.

By most accounts, I’m not really out of shape, or fat. People describe me as “handsome”

But when I look at myself in the mirror I can see myself when I weighed 205lbs. I was smoking hot. I need to get back there. So starting today (Valentine’s Day) I am going back on my diet.

I used to weigh 274lbs. But I lost 69lbs on my own before my big win. Of course after then win, partying and celebration have taken their 37lb toll, and its time to work it off.

So please everyone, be my rock, be my encouragement, and I will keep you updated on my progress!

    Track your progress, that way you can see that you are making strides and if you start slacking you will know to pick up the pace

    Make reasonable goals man. I am 25, 6′4″ and I went from 252 lbs in Jan 2006 to 197 lbs now. Its only like .5 lb per week, but its permanent weight loss. Cut the crap out of the diet and realize its a life style change not a diet. Find some kinda sport you like, and play for fun. I got into racquetball and I would do that for hours. Funny to think its fun to lose weight that way. Give yourself 2-6 month goals and if you meet them, reward yourself. I really wanted to get a tattoo and I said, “Not until you’re down to 230 lbs” What a great motivation that was. Good luck.
