Earth Day. All the hippies love it. Myself personally could care less. One thing I never really bought into is that we are going to blow the earth up with hair spray and plastic bottles.
But, I can see Earth Day as more of a metaphor. You see, people have so little control over their bodies. Take the hippies for example. They just can’t keep their naughty parts clean. Or even there hair for that matter.
Also fatter people (myself included). We can’t control our weight so we are compelled to plant a tree to better our earth.
Well I have a unique suggestion for this Earth Day.
Hippies: Wash your hair, and genitals.
Fat People: Instead of planting a tree for Earth Day, try eating some leaves from one.
My unique perspective was inspired by some late night instant messages. An anonymous friend, advised that I should write an Earth Day post. I was half asleep, but I felt the urge.
I know this may seem like random blabbing, and its probably not going to be the “Earth Day official blog of the year” But I’m personally laughing at my maniacal ideas. Welp, I’m awake now, better go play some Call of Duty 4!

I don’t think I’m going to do it. Its completely legitimate, I’ve researched, and called. But all in all, what do you guys think?
Been a while since I’ve posted one of these.
I recently donated money to the local food bank. They needed some cash for some new trucks for their distribution efforts. I decided that this was a cause I could go for, because its never good to see anyone go hungry.
I’ve also been appointed to the benevolence committee at my church, so we hand out food on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from our pantry. Its been great. You meet so many people with so many stories.
I urge you to volunteer your time to help those in need. Whether they be hungry, ill, or lazy. If they need help, they need help. Make a difference, it doesn’t always take a ton of money to help change someone else’s life!

I like getting up early. Most of us swear that if we were rich we would just sleep all day. Well I tried that. You miss so much of the world if you sleep all day. Lots of stuff happens between 6-11 am.
Wake up, enjoy life, go for a walk/run. All the money in the world can’t make you happy, you still need outside forces.
